Like sports cards, in most cases (and with some exceptions for clearly labeled "Stock Image" items), the image provided is a high-quality scan of the exact card you will receive. Please carefully review both the front and back scans and use the "Zoom" function to ensure any potential purchase is in your desired condition. However, TCG cards primarily have one of four grade designations provided with distinct verbiage from their sports counterparts.
Please note: we do not issue condition notes for any manufacturer defects, including centering or printer lines.
Near Mint
Near Mint represents the highest tier of card. Despite being our highest tier, this designation does not necessarily mean the card is gem perfect. However, the card will look almost new, with any tiny flaws only visible under close inspection.
Lightly Played
Lightly Played is analogous to an Excellent condition for sports cards and also indicates a higher quality condition of the card. Lightly Played cards may show multiple instances of minor wear upon close inspection, including slight corner or edge wear, minor scuffing, or light scratches. This wear does not affect the playability of the card.
Moderately Played
Moderately Played condition can indicate edge wear, surface wear, scratching or scuffing, bends with creases, or a combination of the issues. Imperfections such as bends, peels or liquid exposure may be acceptable as long as these issues do not impact the structural integrity of the card.
Heavily Played
Our lowest condition bucket is Heavily Played. Heavily Played cards have multiple major flaws. Major flaws may include strong surface creases, damaged corners affecting the card's front and back, deep impressions, water damage, and/or markings.
