Some sellers have configured their portfolio to allow and/or accept offers up to 50% off the listed prices of their cards. If you have signed up for a free COMC account and have purchased COMC credit, then you can use it to make offers on cards. Please note that, even with the Offer system, we do not provide any channels for customers to communicate with each other directly, nor is there any way to negotiate price using COMC as an intermediary.
Offers expire after 72 hours of inactivity. Offers can be monitored and cancelled via the Offer History page, accessible from the top-center of the Dashboard. COMC cannot accept, counter, or decline offers on behalf of customers.
When an offer is rejected by a seller, the buyer receives a strike on the items in the offer. Strikes are automatically removed after 90 days. If a buyer has three strikes on a particular item, that buyer cannot make any additional offers on that item until at least one strike is removed.
A full refund of any COMC Credit can requested within 30 days of purchase in the event that your offer is not accepted for whatever reason or you have remaining COMC Credit after requesting shipment. Simply log in to your COMC account, click the Request Refund link in the Buyer Menu in the upper-left corner of the page, and select the first option, Request a Refund. COMC Credit refunds are typically processed within 4 business days. (Weekends and holidays are not business days.)
We require COMC Credit to make offers in order to ensure the convenience of the transaction for both parties. When an offer is accepted, the payment has already been set aside and is transferred immediately to the seller, and ownership of the item is transferred immediately to the buyer. This way, COMC users can avoid the hassle of waiting on payments going through, cards being shipped, etc.
Minimum Offers
Please note, to determine if a user is even considering offers or what their minimum offer may be, you may do so by sending an offer of any amount, including as low as one cent. A one cent offer would not be sent and you would be provided with the message: "The minimum for this offer is X."
