PSA Grading Services, Fees and Timeframes

PLEASE READ: March 12th, 2026 Grading Update:

We’ve made the decision to temporarily pause processing on new grading submissions.

During this pause, customers may continue submitting items to grading through COMC. However, timelines and SLAs for those submissions will be extended by the same duration as the pause in service, which we currently forecast at approximately six weeks. We want to be transparent about this expectation so members can make informed decisions about whether to submit during this period.

Please note, estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed and are subject to change at any time. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for shipping both ways. Timeframes are stated in business days. All items submitted directly from our Canadian office will require an additional 7 days of processing time for grading services.

*Effective June 2nd, PSA has announced a temporary but unspecified pause to their Value-tier options. As a result, we have disabled these options until further notice is provided. 

Crossover Services:

Crossover services are available! To have a non-PSA graded card, graded and encapsulated by PSA, simply submit your graded card via the same process and select from the provided grading levels as if it were a raw card. Please be sure to select the applicable grading service level for the value of your card. Please note, the Value level is not supported for crossover services, instead choose Value Plus. 

Third-party grading holders are designed to be tamper-evident and are extremely difficult to open, even when done by experienced professionals at third-party grading companies. This process might cause damage to the card and affect its grade.

Holders in some circumstances may also hinder the ability to detect pre-existing damage, alterations or other defects that can negatively impact a card's grade. 

Reholder Service:

Reholdering is also available via the same method as Crossover. Simply submit your graded card via the same process and select from the provided grading levels as if it were a raw card.
