Why did an item I had Reprocessed as Elite get new condition notes?

When cards are reprocessed as Elite, it gives us an opportunity to provide another physical assessment of the cards’ condition. Cards that are consigned to us at lower service levels are only bucketed into condition ranges, whereas our Elite and Auction services allow for a more granular assessment of condition issues. Please note that, in the vast majority of cases, items are still assessed as being in the same condition range that they were in before being submitted—we are simply providing more thorough descriptions of the condition (via condition notes) due to the tendency of auction items to be higher-end.

We place a high priority on our ability to confidently stand behind the cards we sell, and we encourage our team to describe and list auction items as accurately as possible.
