Flat-Rate shipping and per-item shipping fees explainer

Flat-Rate Shipping: 

For an order to qualify for flat-rate shipping, items must be purchased in Simplified Buying Mode (the default mode) which automatically includes the per-item shipping fee in the listing price paid by the buyer. In contrast, shipments that include items purchased in Advanced Reseller Mode are not eligible for flat-rate shipping. The per-item shipping fee can vary by item:

• Raw cards: $0.25/item
• Graded/encased cards: $1.00/item
• Auction/elite items: $1.00/item

Advanced Reseller Mode is designed for flippers and makes it so that the per-item fee is not included when purchasing an item, since flippers typically do not intend to ship the items they purchase. Per the Outgoing Offers section of the Profile and Options page: "Items purchased in Advanced Reselling Mode do not qualify for Flat Rate shipping or other shipping promotions."

Additionally, items not purchased through the site are subject to the per-item shipping fee at time of shipping. This includes items that are:

• consigned but never sold and are requested for return
• transferred (such as ePack items or COMC-on-eBay auction wins)
• received via the COMC Mailbox

Orders valued $400+: Signature confirmation is automatically applied to domestic and Canadian orders with a total value of over $400.00 (including the cost of shipping). Signature confirmation costs an additional $4.00 for domestic orders and an additional $2.00 for Canadian orders.

If you are wanting to avoid having signature confirmation added to your shipments, please place multiple, smaller orders that total less than $400.00 each at least 3 days apart so that your orders are not automatically combined. Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to remove signature confirmation.
